White Leather Tallow started from my journey to health. I struggled a lot with health issues that didn’t seem to be solved through the 20+ pills and supplements I was taking every day. I accepted that this was my life now, having to remember to refill my multiple pill boxes, creating schedules to take pills, and multiple doctors' appointments a month only to be met with the same response: more pills. I knew this couldn't be the only way to live. After discovering and trying an animal-based diet centered around local grass-fed beef, my entire paradigm shifted. Why are we told to avoid these foods when I have never felt better while eating them? I stopped taking all my medicine after 2 months. 

While I felt amazing, my skin was still suffering. Years of using mainstream skincare products filled with phthalates, synthetic fragrances, and parabens has destroyed my skin. Certainly, the current system does not have our health as a priority. Take a look at any name brand soap label and count how many ingredients you recognize. Probably not that many. Soap shouldn’t be this complicated.  

Like my diet, I realized that for my skin, simplicity was key. decided to delve into the world of soap making. I wanted to create something pure, something that would align with the natural and healthy lifestyle I had embraced. That's how White Leather Tallow was born – out of a desire to return to basics, to use ingredients that those before us relied on, and to avoid the chemical-laden products that dominate the market today.
